As the lightness of a tinkling piano fades in, you'd be correct in thinking that this was going to be one of those emotional and heart felt songs that Rick can deliver so lovingly but you'd be very wrong in thinking that it'll be a slow, romantic ballad that makes you want to cry into some tissues. It's actually upbeat and aggressive but the minor chords help tell the sad story of betrayal.
