Rick Astley & The Luddites!
5th March 2010
Rick will be appearing with his new band 'The Luddites' at the Rose Theatre in Kingston-Upon-Thames on 11th April!
He will be drumming for the band as well as taking lead vocals and is expected to be performing songs from a range of bands including The Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, T Rex, The Killers and Greenday! Very different from his usual set but we can probably expect Never Gonna Give You Up as well!
Rick has been involved with the band for the last couple of years and has really enjoyed going back to his roots, as he started out as a drummer back in his teens. The band usually play at weekends in the local area to where he lives with the main objective of just having fun and raising a bit of money for charities.
Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased from the Rose Theatre website or on their box office number 0871 230 1552 which will be +44 871 230 1552 from outside of the UK.
